THE PROPERTY FORUM UPDATE
On Board Aurora

In an ongoing piece of research being carried out by Richmond Events, 42% of senior level 'UK plc' believe climate change may merely be part of a macro climate cycle.

With over 600 Directors and senior level managers spanning across all professional sectors already surveyed, early findings point towards a strong belief that man is not necessarily the main cause of climate change.

However, so far 88% of those surveyed agree that whether natural or caused by man, we still need to act now to manage the effect.

In a week when the green issue will be at the forefront of many minds within the property sector, what does this tell us?

Does it point towards an increasingly media sceptical audience of industry leaders? Are education levels on environmental damage caused by man high enough within UK boardrooms? Is the property industry standing up head and shoulders above other professional sectors as 'early adopters' of pro-active measures to combat climate change?

What is clear is that the property sector will play a crucial part in the fast-changing environmental landscape of the business world.

Sustainability will be an integral (but not the only!) topic on board this year's Property Forum. The first class conference programme is used to entice the cream of the property industry on board for you to meet, socialise, and hopefully build the foundations of a business relationship. The already impressive list of names attending October's event is available in the content below.

As always, we welcome any comments you have.

Kind regards,

Chris Williams
